featuring Lucy
singing "My Guy", which was part of a medley of popular Motown
songs featured in the show. |
Lucy Hunter-James
Anthony and Debbie didn't actually meet Lucy until the first rehearsal, however, she
came highly recommended by Debbie's previous personal manager, who also
represented Lucy.
The first time we heard Lucy sing was during her husky, velvety rendition of
"My Guy" and we knew then that we'd found a winner.
Lucy also proved herself to be a more than capable soprano by sitting
beautifully on the top lines of all the harmonies!
A lovely person to go with it, we're delighted to have her on board... and
lucky too - we nearly lost her to the spirit of Disco in "Saucy Jack & The
Space Vixens" during the Edinburgh festival and she flew straight out to
Budapest with John Payton immediately after the show to star in "They're
Playing Our Song"!
