The Vocalists...
The Rock and Pop Orchestra Vocalists are
(left to right) Nick Bacon, Lucy Hunter-James, Debbie Boyd and John Payton.
All are professionally trained actors and singers with an impressive list of
individual credits.
A sound clip is currently
downloading of a live recording of 'Java Jive' which was the introductory song
for the singers in the recent concert on 8th September 2002 (it may take up
to a minute to download over a standard dialup connection).  'Java
Jive' is part of a medley of popular 40's swing tunes performed by the Anthony
England Rock and Pop Orchestra and Singers, other songs in the medley include 'Chatanooga
Choo Choo', 'Choo Choo Ch'boogie' and 'Route 66'.  The medley is
immediately preceded by the orchestra's glorious rendition of 'Pennsylvania
6500' (audience participation is encouraged!).
